Pre-Dinner Receptions and Table Captain Events

The Dinner Committee hosts four events leading up to the Gala Dinner held each May. These receptions give us the opportunity to announce information related to the big event such as the theme, speakers and special guests. Table selection among “captains” who have already filled at least one 10-seat table is also an attraction at the second pre-dinner reception in March.

Besides planting the seed of anticipation for the annual Gala Dinner, these events have become fantastic networking opportunities for members of the Atlanta LGBT community to meet others interested in the work of HRC. Two of these events are open to the public for anyone interested in learning more about the Gala Dinner or HRC. The other two are more intimate events for our table captains to help them as they continue the great work of filling their tables and increasing attendance at the Gala.

Light Refreshments provided

Reception #2:

Date and Time: April 12 at 7:00pm
Location: Renaissance Atlanta Midtown Hotel
Special Information:

Heavy appetizers will be served and valet will be available at the discounted rate of $7 for the night.

Location: Five Napkin Burger (10th and Piedmont)
