Overview

The Human Rights Campaign is America's largest civil rights organization working to achieve lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equality. By inspiring and engaging all Americans, HRC strives to end discrimination against LGBT citizens and realize a nation that achieves fundamental fairness and equality for all.

The Purpose of the Dinner

The Human Rights Campaign cannot operate without funds, and here in Atlanta, we have grown to host one of the largest fundraisers in the country for the cause of equality. The Atlanta Gala Dinner is an annual event that consists of a large private auction, followed by a black tie dinner to celebrate the steps we have made and to look towards a more just future. Just last year alone, we were able to raise over $400,000 for the cause through silent auction sales, corporate sponsorships, and over 1200 dinner participants.

This year, the dinner is May 1, 2010 at the Hyatt Regency in Downtown Atlanta, and tickets are on sale on our website for the event.
